DanganRonpa: Prepare for Despair

Felix walked into the workout room to see it much cleaner than the night before. All of the yoga equipment had been reorganized, and the workout equipment had been polished and dusted. The dumbbell and pile of glass from the day before had vanished, no trace of it to be seen.

Felix looked around and sighed. There was no sign of anything having been amiss. He ran his hand over the dumbbells, his hand resting on one that was the right size to have been covered in blood the day before. "Man, I'm getting morbid being stuck in this place," he said to himself.

"Talking to yourself eh?" Monokuma teased as he walked into the Workout room, "Sure that's good for your health? There are a lot of people here to talk to y'know?" It jumped up and began balancing on one of the exercise balls.

Felix's eyes narrowed. "Less everyday, it seems." he replied. "Anyway, I have somewhere else to be." He turned and walked out of the room, heading towards the auditorium's 2nd floor entrance.

The catwalk had been wiped down, nothing from the day before remained. The lights appear to have been adjusted, most of them focusing on the banner above the stage, "W...w...wait!" Monokuma called, as he chased after Felix, "Whatcha looking for? Maybe your principal can help!"

Felix sighed once again and turned around. "We're looking for Alex. His door is locked so we're not sure if he's in his room or not but he didn't answer when we knocked. Either way we don't know where he is and we're worried about him." Felix crossed his arms over his chest. If Monokuma helped him now then maybe there was a chance theat he could also help them to get out of here.

"...Oh." The bear pulled out a chart from behind him and began scratching his head, "I knew the math wasn't addin' up right. Well be ready to be disappointed! I dunno where he's at." the bear thought for a second, "You don't think he got out...do ya?"

"Well according to you there's only 2 ways out; Kill or be killed. Since we haven't had a trial again, he hasn't killed." Felix paused for a second. "Hey Monokuma, you think you could let me into his room? I could pay you for your help with a prtrait for you to hang in your office."

"Hmm? Sure whatever. I have to take care of something first, but I'll bring it afterwards."

"Great, I'll be in the kitchen or cafeteria if you need to find me." Felix headed downstairs and into the kitchen to help Alicia finish cleaning up.

Monokuma shrugged and walked to the other side of the catwalk before jumping down.

Liam opened his mouth to say something, then shook his head. "4am..." he muttered. "Well, good to see you're doing fine. I'll have a look in the auditorium."

"Of course. I'll search the recreational room, and the storage." She gave him a small smile, "We will find him. Don't worry." She walked around him and down the hall.

As Liam walked into the auditorium, he saw Monokuma on the catwalk above talking to Felix. After a minute, Felix left and Monokuma made his way around the catwalk to backstage. He looked out and waved at Liam, "Hey loser! What's up?"

"Looking for Alex," he said, only half expecting anything partially useful out of Monokuma. "What's down, little bear?" he couldn't resist.

"Oh oh? So you lost em too?" The bear brought its paws up to its mouth, "You kids lose more friends with each minute." At the second question, the bear crossed his arms, "Hmph. I was trying to fix a few things in the school. A few devices are going haywire." The bear patted it's chest, "But then I saw you, and thought, 'now what's more important? Fixing a few dumb cameras, or spending time with one of my favorite students!'""

He smiled a little, but quickly put it away in favor of a frown. "Favorite student... You'll forgive me if I'm not very flattered. Now, what's this about broken cameras?"

The bear tilted its head, "A few cameras are just showin' static now. The libraries camera is out. Cafeteria's too. And most of the upstairs is offline as well."

His brow furrowed. "If only we had a Super Duper High School-Level Mechanic here," he muttered. "I'm guessing the library is no accident. Leit must really want his privacy..."

"You think that loser would be able to pull this off? Especially without me noticing?" the bear crossed it's arms again, "'Sides. Both the cafeteria and the library are having the same problem. Why would he keep that room offline too?"

"That's what I aim to find out," he said, turning around. He glanced over his shoulder. "Why does this bother you anyways? You seem to be able to pop out of nowhere anywhere in the building, after all."

"Thing is, I can't go into the rooms with the cameras off. What if one of you pests was waiting to get the jump on me!" The bear shuddered, "Just thinkin' about it gives me the shakes!"

"The rules say we're not allowed to harm you," he pointed out. "If we do, you kill us." He started walking. "Either way. I'm going to keep looking around."

The bear shrugged and walked backstage to the ladder that lead to the catwalk. After a minute, there was a loud SLAM that echoed throughout the auditorium. "Oops."

Liam whirled around and followed the source of the noise. "What happened?"
