Chaos' party: Thread 6.1

Darem kicked out the legs from underneath the skeleton and shoved it to the ground, using his weight as a weapon.

Darem's stance was off while the skeleton's was on point. It yanked back and broke free of his grip as the goron's weight made it unable to resist the next hit from the stalfos leaving a sword shaped mark in the goron's rocky plating along with a painful gash underneath

Chaos released his boney victim who's skull has gone black and he swung his mace towards the remaining stalfos. The Stalfos had gotten its second wind though and it easily dodged the blow. It swung retaliated with a shield bash that Chaos managed to absorb with his weapon.

While the Stalfos was distracted, Darem got back up and slammed his body into the back of the creature.

The stalfos hobbled to the side from the hit. As it regained its footing, it was hit again by Chaos and continued stumbling backwards on the defensive. As it backed up it swung in an arc missing both opponents completely.

After the wild swing, Darem used the opportunity to charge at the skeleton, slamming into it.

The stalfos quickly side stepped Darem's charge, but as he did Chaos slid around and smashed his weapon into its back ribs with a loud crack. The crack was too much for the skeleton and it quickly fell over defeated.

"Nicely done!" Darem cheered and he turned around and ran down the hallway, "Almost got em now! Can't have much further to run." He said and he rolled up and took off.

Darem soon rolled into a more open area and was confronted with 5 more stalfos, shields raised. Whatever alarms could be set had surely gone off by now. Chaos attempted to follow into the room, but was cut off in the hall by two stalfos in front and behind him.

"Haha! I'll take you all on!" he took a step back and waited for the stalfos to make the first move.

The five stalfos moved forward at once. The first one swung to the side and missed followed by another next to it. The third stalfos hit hard at Darem's side. The fourth bashed the goron with his shield and the fifth did the same knocking him back.

Chaos leaped forward at his first attacker and slammed it hard in the face with his weapon cracking it up. The stalfos behind him however slammed his shield into Chaos' back and knocked him on top of the first one. Chaos let out a low growl and stood himself back up, stomping on the grounded stalfos' cracked skull along the way. He raised his weapon and backed into the room Darem was in with the skeleton behind him fast approaching with what appeared to be another behind it.


Meanwhile, Fist charged at her opponent again. She dodged a heavy sword swing and grabbed the stalfos' arm with both hands. With a roar she ripped its arm clean off and threw it behind her. The stalfos tried to hit her with its shield, but she swerved to the side and made a shot at its face. Her shot missed however and she barely had time to duck down and avoid getting a skull bash to the head.

Darem quickly retaliated, rolling up and slamming into the shield of the stalfos in front of him.

Darem rolled into one stalfos sending it back, the remaining skeletons took this chance to surround him from all sides. They lashed out one after the other with two managing to connect for minor hits.

Chaos dodged a slash and swung in retaliation, but the second stalfos blocked his hit and hit him with a hard kick. Chaos moved back and regained his position before having to block another hit. They began exchanging swings with no actual connecting hits.

Darem unrolled himself right after the attack and threw his fists at the two in front of him.

Darem punched one of the stalfos down to the ground while the other avoided the blow. They all lashed out again, but only one was able to get anywhere through the goron's armor.

two larger stalfos appeared from entrances on either side. They were covered in armor and carried fancier but still clearly weathered blades.

One of these larger skeletons walked straight up behind chaos and caught him off guard as he was fighting his opponent from before. He noticed its presence at the last second and got away with a graze on his shoulder. The sword made a loud clang against the stone floor before the armored stalfos lifted it up again.

The second armored stalfos walked towards the crowd around the goron. It swung horizontally and hit Darem hard in the back

Meanwhile, Fist, still on the ground, grabbed the stalfos' leg and pulled, bringing it crashing to the ground. She leaped forward and jumped on top of it before punching its skull into pieces.

Darem dropped to the ground and kicked at the foot of the stalfos to his right, hoping to knock it over.

The stalfos remained standing, but wasn't able to attack. The remaining 4 all lashed out again, but were unable to penetrate the sturdy goron. The large armored stalfos swung again. Its blade rung loud as it swung down at the goron, but Darem managed to roll out of the way in time.

Chaos continued trying to fight and dodge both stalfos at once, The smaller stalfos finally managed to disrupt his footing as the armored stalfos prepared a swing. Chaos dashed behind the unarmored stalfos and used its body to block an incoming blow from the larger skeleton. The stalfos' swing was as powerful as it could muster however, and it plowed through the other skeleton. It hit so hard that it sent Chaos to the ground.

Darem countered and charged at the last stalfos to swing, hoping to catch it off guard.

Darem tackled the larger stalfos and sent it unexpectedly backwards. The blow left a large dent in the breastplate as a broken ribs was seen falling to the ground from inside the armor.

Chaos struggled to get the broken heap of bones and metal off of himself. He didn't expect the stalfos to be so willing to crush another. His hand surged with energy, but when he tried to swing it he found an armored foot stepping on his arm and hindering its movement. The large Stalfos had gotten the better of him and made a loud crackling noise to the others.

The stalfos Darem was facing pointed towards Chaos and made otherwordly rattling noises before anything legible came out. "keeeeeeh.... sssssurrender yourself or we will eliminate the fleshy one."
The four other stalfos stood in a circle around Darem all ready to strike out again.

Darem crossed his arms, "Taking hostages?" He raised his hands up halfheartedly, "Just when I was havin' fun too." He looked over towards Chaos. "Was a good run at least, eh?"

Chaos growled.  To put it bluntly, he was too tired for this shit. The stalfos lifted him up by his collar and urged him forward through a passage at sword point. The many other stalfos tried herding Darem in the same direction while keeping a slight distance from the large rock man. "khhhhhhh.... You would speak to our Captain... Plea your case of intrusion to him."

Meanwhile, Fist and the others moved onward for a time without interruption. They were quickly set upon by stalfos from the front and back. Fist charged at the one in front and started clobbering it before another spoke up. "Ssssss... halt your attack. We have your captured your companions. Lay down your weapons.. immediately." Fist halted her attack to the agreement of stalfos who had just received a fresh new dent in its cranium. She wasn't sure whether to believe them or not. This place appeared to be crawling with skeletons and they had no head or tail of where the others were to be found. It was a sticky situation. Her weapons weren't so easily confiscated so she decided to follow along for now. She dropped her hands and allowed the gauntlets to slide off her arms.

"I'm sure skeleton captains are very kind and understanding. Provided they're not too bitter about the whole 'undead' thing."

No more words were exchanged as the two were taken to a holding chamber. Inside the chamber were Fist, Reina, and Jillian secured by chain handcuffs that all attached to a longer chain shared by the three of them. The new arrivals were secured with chains (Multiple sets were strapped to the goron) and the group was united again. "Was wondering why you were so late to catch up." Chaos muttered as he was bound to the back of the line. "It's not the most pleasant outcome, but escaping shouldn't be too hard once the chance arises. I still have my weapons." Fist said as she tested the chain's strength.

"Speak for yourself." Darem pouted, trying to move his limbs, "This is discrimination!"

Jillian chuckled a bit despite the bleak situation. "Take it as a compliment." She advised, "Clearly they fear your strength."

"Sorry we got held up." Reina offered to Chaos, "There were just so many of them." She had to admit felt better about the situation now that he was there though. Having Chaos around made anything less scary.

Darem looked around at the stalfos, "It's gonna be hard gettin' out of this one. You sure we need that dumb mask?"
