Chaos' party: Thread 6.1

"It's a risky move. They'd probably be able to get hold of me before I made it over them." Chaos looked at the length of their swords. They had more range than he did at the moment. The shield wall was a problem too. They tightly spanned the width of the hall and were closing in. "We need to make a break in that wall. I could try shooting one's head, but I'm not sure how that'll effect a skeleton compared to crushing it." His bag wasn't with him so he was severely limited on ammo.

Darem shook his head, "Wasn't doin' much against em yesterday. We need to go for the legs, or tackle one with enough force to knock it down." He frowned, "Both of which will leave us vulnerable." He thought for a second, "Think you could hit one of the arms holding the shields? Or maybe a leg?"

"Leg maybe. Their stance leaves the shield arms as a much smaller target." Chaos backed up and slipped his mace into his belt and held his gun with both hands. "he followed the pacing of their next three steps and at the peak of their step, he fired at the center stalfos' knee. The bullet shot into the knee and the stalfos fell to its side, throwing off the one to its right causing a break in the wall

"There's yer break. But I'll do ya one better!" Darem rolled up and charged at the middle one, before pushing off of the ground and jumping into the air. He put all of his weight onto his upper arm, and tackled the creature.

Like a charging bull Darem slammed right into the stalfos before it could even recover from the bullet. The tackle to the ground crushed the stalfos's ribcage under its own shield and the glow in its eyes ceased. Chaos rushed forward and swung his mace at its head. The jaw came right off and cracked the skull. It growled and swung at Chaos, but missed as the blow left it shaky still. The other stalfos tried to stab Darem while he was on top of the middle guard, but missed wildly.

"Haha!" Darem cheered as he slammed his fists on his chest, "Come and get me!" He taunted, grinning snidely at the creatures. He gave a quick wink to Chaos as he waved his arms around.

Chaos didn't take his eyes off his opponent. The stalfos swung at him and Chaos used his mace to knock the sword to the side. He then jumped up the skeleton's shield and grabbed its face as purple energy surged out of it. The stalfos let out a roar as it fell back flailing its arms.

The other stalfos swung at Darem again, but couldn't penetrate his rocky skin

After deflecting the blow, Darem reached forward and grabbed the arm with the blade, pulling down as he kicked at the stalfos' leg.

The stalfos fought back and was surprisingly strong for someone without muscles, but in the end it couldn't match goron strength. It struggled against Darem's grip, but was unable to break free as it continued taking damage.

Likewise, the other stalfos failed to rid itself of Chaos' grasp as he stepped on the skeleton's arms to better prevent flailing.

meanwhile, Fist shot forward trying to move before the stalfos could act. It barely managed to hold its shield up to block her fist as it made a loud bang. She hopped back and and shot forward again with and uppercut that the stalfos leaped back to avoid. It leaped forward again and grazed Fist's arm leaving a light cut. Fist bounced back and shook out her wounded arm. "Well it looks like these ones are tougher than the ones out in the sand."

Darem kicked out the legs from underneath the skeleton and shoved it to the ground, using his weight as a weapon.

Darem's stance was off while the skeleton's was on point. It yanked back and broke free of his grip as the goron's weight made it unable to resist the next hit from the stalfos leaving a sword shaped mark in the goron's rocky plating along with a painful gash underneath

Chaos released his boney victim who's skull has gone black and he swung his mace towards the remaining stalfos. The Stalfos had gotten its second wind though and it easily dodged the blow. It swung retaliated with a shield bash that Chaos managed to absorb with his weapon.

While the Stalfos was distracted, Darem got back up and slammed his body into the back of the creature.

The stalfos hobbled to the side from the hit. As it regained its footing, it was hit again by Chaos and continued stumbling backwards on the defensive. As it backed up it swung in an arc missing both opponents completely.

After the wild swing, Darem used the opportunity to charge at the skeleton, slamming into it.

The stalfos quickly side stepped Darem's charge, but as he did Chaos slid around and smashed his weapon into its back ribs with a loud crack. The crack was too much for the skeleton and it quickly fell over defeated.

"Nicely done!" Darem cheered and he turned around and ran down the hallway, "Almost got em now! Can't have much further to run." He said and he rolled up and took off.

Darem soon rolled into a more open area and was confronted with 5 more stalfos, shields raised. Whatever alarms could be set had surely gone off by now. Chaos attempted to follow into the room, but was cut off in the hall by two stalfos in front and behind him.

"Haha! I'll take you all on!" he took a step back and waited for the stalfos to make the first move.

The five stalfos moved forward at once. The first one swung to the side and missed followed by another next to it. The third stalfos hit hard at Darem's side. The fourth bashed the goron with his shield and the fifth did the same knocking him back.

Chaos leaped forward at his first attacker and slammed it hard in the face with his weapon cracking it up. The stalfos behind him however slammed his shield into Chaos' back and knocked him on top of the first one. Chaos let out a low growl and stood himself back up, stomping on the grounded stalfos' cracked skull along the way. He raised his weapon and backed into the room Darem was in with the skeleton behind him fast approaching with what appeared to be another behind it.


Meanwhile, Fist charged at her opponent again. She dodged a heavy sword swing and grabbed the stalfos' arm with both hands. With a roar she ripped its arm clean off and threw it behind her. The stalfos tried to hit her with its shield, but she swerved to the side and made a shot at its face. Her shot missed however and she barely had time to duck down and avoid getting a skull bash to the head.

Darem quickly retaliated, rolling up and slamming into the shield of the stalfos in front of him.

Darem rolled into one stalfos sending it back, the remaining skeletons took this chance to surround him from all sides. They lashed out one after the other with two managing to connect for minor hits.

Chaos dodged a slash and swung in retaliation, but the second stalfos blocked his hit and hit him with a hard kick. Chaos moved back and regained his position before having to block another hit. They began exchanging swings with no actual connecting hits.

Darem unrolled himself right after the attack and threw his fists at the two in front of him.

Darem punched one of the stalfos down to the ground while the other avoided the blow. They all lashed out again, but only one was able to get anywhere through the goron's armor.

two larger stalfos appeared from entrances on either side. They were covered in armor and carried fancier but still clearly weathered blades.

One of these larger skeletons walked straight up behind chaos and caught him off guard as he was fighting his opponent from before. He noticed its presence at the last second and got away with a graze on his shoulder. The sword made a loud clang against the stone floor before the armored stalfos lifted it up again.

The second armored stalfos walked towards the crowd around the goron. It swung horizontally and hit Darem hard in the back

Meanwhile, Fist, still on the ground, grabbed the stalfos' leg and pulled, bringing it crashing to the ground. She leaped forward and jumped on top of it before punching its skull into pieces.

Darem dropped to the ground and kicked at the foot of the stalfos to his right, hoping to knock it over.
