Favorite Character

What is your favorite character in the Legend of Zelda? (I'm not including ones that have been Bosses/Minibosses. There is already a topic for that.)

Mine is the Happy Mask Salesman.

Medli, Groose, Demise, and Midna

Medli cause I mean, c'mon how can you NOT like her?

Groose cause of his cheesy 90's bully syndrome and his character arch which makes you really like him at the end

Demise because holy moses he's a badass.Take Ganondorf, Oni, and Afro's resurrected dad and throw em in a blender and you'll get demise. Not to mention his monster form looks like a giant silly puppet

and Midna has a great story arch too. Most developed assistant character iop

also throwing on the King of Red Lions on here because he's Sean Connery

Medli- She's cute AND useful
King of Red Lions-he's the one Zelda guide who seems to know the one skill none of the others can handle...shutting up and letting you adventure.
Anju- I love the Anju/Kafei sidequest so much and I feel so sad for her character.
Malon- if you don't know already that I support LinkxMalon over Linkxanyone else ever then you probably haven't read my fan-fic...I should get back to writing that eventually.
Dark Link-for two reasons 1) Evil Twin Yaoi is HOOOOOT! 2) There's a lot of story just with the concept of fighting with your dark self...it's a compelling tool in storytelling and I love the way they use t without shoving it in your face.

I think bosses should be included, since this is a discussion about the characters, not the fights.

Tough question. I only got to play WW briefly, and never even managed to make it into the dungeon on Dragonroost, so I'm not in a good position to vote for Medli.

HMS is also good. So friggin' mysterious.

Subrosians. Because they're Subrosians.

Nayru, cuz she's the MOTHAFUDGING ORACLE OF AGES, BRO!

Linebeck, too, because he's a jerk with a heart of gold. And I liked customizing his ship. The stone ship was my favorite.

Ezlo, cuz he's a hat. He also got a lot more development than most assist characters, probably around the same as Midna.

Midna, too, for the same reasons as Ezlo. Except that she's not a hat. I don't like her true form, though. The hair just irks me.

Ok, that's all I can think of as far as non-boss characters. For bosses:

Dark Link's a good one, for the same reasons as J said. I also loved him in the Four Swords Adventures manga. So awesome. Purple link in that comic too.

Majora's Mask because we know so little about it and because it's so insane.

Vaati in Minish Cap, because he was badass.

Demise, cuz he's just epic.

I like... um the crazy cucco lady from ocarina of time.
I only like her becuase shes kinda funny and kinda stupid and crazy.

I would say the Happy Mask Salesman. He's pretty cool, I guess. And Draezeth, can Majora's Mask even be considered a character? I mean, because it is a mask, not a living thing (I think), but on the other hand, it talks and moves, and obviously has intentions. I don't know.
