Party 1 Beginning: Lost Woods to Clock Town

The captain gave Jaruzak a businesslike smile, "I look forward to it." He strode off to speak with the Mayor's assistant.

Ruul walked up, "It looks like they have everything under control. I think I'll head back to the Lazy Possum for the night."

"Ok then, ill return to the others at the cave" Jaruzak said before striding away before flying back towards where the others at the cave were.

Ruul found Reodip still at the Lazy Possum again and sat down at the same table as him, as he had done earlier that same day, "Looks like the monster you were after is already dead."

"Ah yes the person who hired me already gave me the money for it. Here's your part." He put a bag on the table which seemed quite full "there should be about 400-500 rupies in there, and if you want you can keep the armor."

"Well, I really didn't help at all. I don't think I could accept pay for something I didn't do."

"You at least know the person who killed the beast and he does deserve it, and about the armor I was kinda running out of space in my box so you can still keep it if you want."

"Well, I'm not sure who killed the eel, actually. I doubt Chaos' group would be bothered to do it, and I don't think I'd find them even if I went to look for them."

"Then just take it, I was originally going to hunt it with you and a few others and I didn't even harm that monster but I also can't refuse the reward and say that I didn't kill it since that would harm my reputation as a hunter. So just take it since rupies are worthless in my country."

Ruul shrugged and took the rupees, figuring he could spend it on someone down on their luck during his travels, "Alright. Thanks." He got up, "I'm gonna go to bed. I guess this might be the last time we talk, huh?"

Quint entered the lonely possom and ordered some lunch and a bed for the night. He wondered wher Ruul was and he decided to wait. He sat down at the nearest table and he decided to wait.

At the moment, Ruul was out in Clock Town, trying to help a child find his mother. He'd decided he would stick around Termina for another day or so, then head to Snowhead to get some Goron clothes for warmer climates before leaving.

Ruul eventually returned to the inn. He didn't notice Quint right away, and went up to the bartender to re-rent his room, this time just for one more day.

Trace called Ruul over to the table after he finished renting his room. "How was the flight back?" He asked

Ruul chuckled, "It gave me quite the adrenaline rush. I don't think I'd mind having wings," he said as he sat down. "So you decided to come back to Clock Town, I see. Did I miss anything?"

"Not really we just packed up and left this morning and I left the group as they were walking past town to Snowhead. How about you?"

"I took a walk about Clock Town and found a child that had lost his mother, so I helped him find her. After that I ended up in a bit of a scuffle and got injured. The doctor fixed me up, and then I came back here."

He started to get up, "Here, let me get something to eat. I haven't had dinner yet." As he got up, he gasped and fell forward onto his hands, "Ouch."

Quint quickly picked Ruul up and helped him sit back down on the seat. "Watch it there It seems you haven't fully recovered from that scuffle yet. Just tell me what you want and i'll order your food."

"Umm..." Ruul shrugged, "It doesn't really matter. Nothing with too many vegetables, I guess."

Trace laughed. "Haha sure be right back." Trace walked up to the bar and ordered some food for Ruul and sat back down. "So what are our plans? Are we still going to search for those masks?"

Ruul shook his head, "Oh, no. Fenrir just wanted to know where they were. I'm not involved in his work anymore, as far as I know." He started on his rather late dinner.

"So what are your plans then since were not looking for those masks anymore?"

Ruul shrugged, "I'm just going to stick around Clock Town for another day or so, and then continue on my travels. I'll probably stick around the library most of the time."

The bell at the door sang a soft chime as the front door of the Inn was pushed open. The final words of a conversation poured briskly into the building. "...complain, the place is a lot less crowded than the other one." A small set of boots scuffled themselves clean on a mat. A second wasn't as courteous, clopping onto the wooden floor with haughtier strides. A man with an odd mixture of somewhat common apparel and cloth sashes that still partly shrouded his glinting eyes stepped up to the counter. He swiped a coin purse out of a pocket, the gold pieces [EDIT] **RUPEES. GOD I'M DUMB. [EDIT] creating a muffled clattering sound upon the sack being plopped on the rough surface.
"I'd like a room for one-and-a-half," he said, deadpan--dryly. The young lady beside him laughed. She'd grown much taller, but he still had a tenancy to make fun.

Ruul's ears perked up as he heard the girl's voice. He looked up at the girl and the man she was with. He wasn't sure, but she could be her...

He dropped his fork on his plate, swallowed his mouthful and got up, supporting himself on the table, "Aero?"

"I hope this'll cover the charge--" The man who was now leaning his elbow on the counter sharply cut himself off, his eyes, bright though shadowed, flickered to the other side of the room. His brow furrowed in an unseen contemplation.
The girl, well, she stood there a moment while she registered quickly what was in front of her, here face beaming. She half-shouted, "Ruul," and, in the shock of the moment, didn't know whether to run to him or what to do.
The other's mouth curled into a discontented scowl. A reminder of the past was very much undesired-- not to mention a walking, breathing one... An obnoxious one. He sighed, turning back to the shop-keep. "--cover the charges." His tone was a bit bitter.
