Party 1 Beginning: Lost Woods to Clock Town

Ruul ran the people he had seen in the streets through his head, and didn't remember seeing a Kokiri, or a gas mask, "Can't say that I have. Have you seen Reodip, by the way?"

"So you wish for me to immobilize the creature and then claim the mask from it? With that in hand, we could lay a trap. Some kind of tracking spell could be placed on the mask and it would lead us to the location of the other collectors collection."

"Dammit. Where could they be?" Chaos kicked a rock on the ground before remembering to answer Ruul's question in return. "As for your question, I'm not sure who Reodip is, could you describe him?"

"Oh, sorry. Hylian, covered in deep wounds. He's probably the only person here with that description."

That is an excellent idea. Do you require assistance in capturing the creature?

"oh yes, he asked me to make him some gear at the local...." Chaos stopped mid-sentence and walked over to a wall near them. It was covered in bullet marks. He kneeled down and picked a bullet off the ground, rolling it around in his hand. "Shit..." He said as he stood up. The mark on the back was one he was too familiar with. His assumptions were correct. Chaos walked over to Ruul once more. "Again, you haven't seen anyone with a mask like the ones from the other day or might know where they went?"

"Assistance will make the task go faster. With others to draw it's attention i will be free to focus on the placement of the portal. With three people would can corral it in the direction of the portal and move it onto land or into the demon realm. From there we should have no problem killing it and taking the mask. I will advise caution. It may be able to adapt to land combat as well. I do not know much about the capabilities of the creature or the mask. Either way i shall be returning to my lab for a short time to prep my crystals. I may need additional power depending on the creatures size and capabilities. It has already wiped out a squad of men who are trained to fight underwater i don't want to any unnecessary chances. How long until the others will arrive here?"

Ruul shook his head, "No, I was in North Clock Town for the last hour or so." He wanted to ask where Reodip had been seen, but he could tell that Chaos was perturbed, "Do you need any help?"

"I understand. Tell them to meet me at the inn. I have a room rented there currently. The innkeeper can direct them there. I will inform him of my company that will be coming. I may not be back yet when they arrive. I will go to my lab and prep my crystals and work out some plans. Will that be all master?"

Chaos sighed and explained his dilemma. "My group was supposed to return hours ago and yet they still haven't arrived at the inn. After asking around and a bit of eavesdropping I've learned that there was gunfire around the city particularly from rooftops as well as a masked woman and young girl running quite urgently throughout the streets. I've come to the conclusion that they've been attacked and I need to figure out where they are. If you wish to assist then try to help me find out their locations. Try to look for bullets or holes in buildings. They should make a pathway to my companions' escape, capture...or graves." Chaos continued to look around the buildings for more bullets or holes in the walls to lead him to his destination

Quint Turned to Reodip. "Well i wanted to ask the smithy if he could make some more muskets for mt but i guess hes not in. Oh well ill talk to you later. Quint exited the Blacksmiths and started wandering around again. it wasn't long before he spotted Chaos acting odd. "What in the world are you doing?" he asked the masked man.

Chaos turned to Quint" I'm searching for my companions. Have you seen them running around at all today? Perhaps others wearing gas masks such as myself?"

"I cant say I have, I saw them training this morning but that's about it. Do you need help searching?" He responded.

"Well if you wish to assist then I'll take it. Just be warned that there might be some fighting against guys who don't mess around. Be ready for anything." Chaos said as he lifted his gun up to show Quint as means of warning. "I'm looking for stray bullets and marks in the walls so as to find the path to where my companions ended up. There were a lot of people chasing them by the looks of it." He followed some marks in the walls around a corner while signaling the other two to follow

"If someone has threatened the small girl you were with i assure you I wont show them any mercy." after looking around he Chaos motioned that he and Ruul follow and promptly did so.

Chaos walked down the road as bullet marks led through multiple alleys and streets until it ceased at one dead end alley in particular. "The trail goes cold here." He said to the others.

"Whats that smell?" Quint asked after they reached the dead end. "Look its a sewer grate its probably where they went." Quint opened the hatch and jumped down. "I hope there are some clused down here that can help us."

Chaos kneeled down and looked in the sewer. There were no signs of struggle in the alley so it was likely that Fist and Reina jumped in here to get away. He jumped down into the sewer and looked at the running water full of the waste of the city. It was times like this that he was glad that his mask filtered chemicals in the air."Where does this sewer lead?" He said as he looked down the long path beside the rushing water.

"Most sewers lead outside of the town, but like you, I haven't been here very long." He looked both ways down the sewers and bent down near the putrid water and picked something up, "What's this?" It was a smashed bullet, but Ruul has never seen such a thing before.

"It's a used bullet. It looks like they were still under fire when jumping down. By the size I'd say it was discharged from a rifle. Think of it like a tiny cannon ball from a cannon you can hold in your hands." Chaos said as he held up his own gun for example. "Now then, the only way to find where this leads is to follow the walkway." He started walking down the tunnel anxious to see where it ended and what might be on the other side.

"Its not like any bullets I have ever seen, what kind of rifles are these?" He asked as they continue to walk down the tunnel.

"I'm not entirely sure. The group is a serious pioneer in weapon manufacturing, they're always ahead of their time. From what I've seen they've upgraded since I was with them." He pulled out the silencer from his bag and attached it to his gun again. "One of my subordinates stole some schematics for this thing and I recently managed to recreate it. Supposedly it makes the gun fire almost completely silent and gives less recoil. You could put a bullet in someone's head and others in the vicinity would be completely oblivious. " He looked the gun over as he walked. "And it looks like I'll be getting to try it out very shortly."

Lets hope it wont come to that, but I'm prepared for anything. It will take more than flashy new technology to take me down.

"I hope so. I was with these guys for my whole life and they don't mess around. When they have a mission, they won't rest until it's completed, no matter the cost. They're not a threat to take lightly." After walking for awhile the group could hear the sound of water dropping off somewhere. The end of the tunnel was near

Ruul drew his axe out of his belt and started generating ice over his torso and head, "Ready for battle," he said with a small smile.
