Pokémon RP: Quest for the Crystal Essences.

Will finally rose up from slumber and stretched out his limbs. He turned his head towards the group and waved before stumbling in the direction of water to wake himself up quicker. He rolled into the water and lay there submerged for a time. After a few minutes he lifted his head out wide awake. "Well that did the trick." He said as he walked back to everyone dripping wet.

"5 more minutes..." Scotia complained, rolling over facing away from the others.

5 minutes huh...he thought to himself then said "Don't you mean 5 hours."

"Oh dont worry, im sure she will wake up soon.' said Trace after munching on a berry. "So do you guys think they have like actual beef instead of milktanks? and what about chicken? since you know starter Pokemon aren't that easy to find and stuff"

"I remember old pokedex entries on pokemon eating other pokemon. I'd assume some pokemon are food sources." Will said as he dried himself off in the sun

"That sounds like cannibalism." Jordan said, completely grossed out. She hoped certain pokemon didn't find her tasty.

"Well, cannibalism among animal species isn't really frowned upon. It's just another way to survive." Robby explained, "Although the pokemon world is really advanced. I wouldn't be surprised if they had made some kind of fake meat with all of the taste and nutrition of real meat."

"NUTS TO FAKE! I WANT THE REEEEEEEEEEEEEAL DEAL BABY!" Will shouted with his arms in the air. "Although I don't see how it's cannibalism. Pokemon is pretty much just a synonym for animal here. The same species won't eat each other necessarily, but the giant snake pokemon will definitely leap at the chance to sink its fangs into a delicious little mouse." He said devilishly

"All I know is that this Mudkip ain't eatin' another Mudkip!"He said also grossed out.

"Bulbasaur isn't particularly yummy to certain other pokemon are they?"

"Not that I know of."

"Well, all this talk of cannibalism and stuff has been fun, but we should really get moving." Will said as he hopped to his feet.

"Yeah....good idea." Jordan said nervously as she followed close to Will.

Scotia rolled upright shaking her head, "Okay.. okay..." she said, standing up and stumbling forward.

"So where you guys headed?"mudkip said to trace inquiringly.

"To the next town" Said Trace walking beside the mudkip. "We have something important to acquire there."

"Yush!" Robyn Said scooping a still disorientated Scotia onto her back. Then, bounding around like the over-excited puppy she was, she called "C'mon guys, let's go!"

Robby rolled his shoulder's back before taking to the skies again. He made sure to watch the path, but would look around occasionally to see if there were any land marks

"You know that Scyther walk a lot too?" Robyn called to Robby, remembering how he complained about flying the night before.

"Well the more I fly, the more I'll get used to it!" He yelled back, "Also I'm not taking the chance of an ambush. I should be able to see if someone or somethings ahead. And even if something does happen, I still have the upper ground to attack."

"That reminds me of a bleach episode. 'The one who has the higher ground wins'" Robyn said as she remembered all the anime she'd be missing

"So...what exactly is this quest about?"mudkip asked still wondering.

"To speak to Arceus pretty much, we need to ask him something. Turns out asking god a question is harder than it seems. so now we have to travel across the reason and collect
these things called crystal essenses just to speak to him."

Steffen stayed where he was, stubbornly curled up, pretending to still be asleep.

so mudkip went over to Drae and used water gun to wake him up
