| Now for another lore post, after translating my illegible handwriting. After a war between the gods and the first demons, the world was split into four by the Lords of Balance to make it easier for the Lords of Order and Chaos to do their jobs. This also ultimately resulted in the elemental division of all who inhabited the original world. Each land, with a basic description: Halcynth, The Land of Water and Ice: - Spoiler:
Halcynth is a world that is roughly 80% water, 15% glaciers, and 5% islands. The climate is bizarre, due to 75% of the land being frigid wastelands, and the remaining 25% being tropical islands. The equatorial line is where the tropical islands, as few as they may be, can be found. However, travel a few hours north or south, and you'll come up on the occasional glacier. Mercury poisoning is common in Halcynth, as fish what most Halcynthians eat from birth until death. Halcynthians are humans who are spiritually bound to the element of Water, and characteristically, they are a lax bunch who go with the flow, pun not intended. In recent years, due to the development of trade routes, many fruits have entered the diets of some Halcynthians, leading to slightly healthier dietary habits among some cultures.
Vaser, The Land of Fire and Brimstone: - Spoiler:
Vaser is primarily a large wasteland without any sort of large governmental figure. It's inhabitants, the Vasern, are inherently obsessed with the idea of a large catastrophe annihilating them all in one fell swoop, despite several of their predicted "End Days" having passed. They are obsessed with their own destruction to the point that the concept of their survival doesn't even register to them on an emotional level. They only seem to try to survive just to see their own ultimate demise. As far as their dietary habits are concerned, not a single soul, be it angel or god, or demon, or even a transcendent knows or cares to enlighten others as per what these doom-obsessed freaks eat every day. The Vasern are humans who are spiritually bound to the element of Fire, and characteristically, they're a destructive bunch of loners who tend to mind their own business. They have a hard time minding their own business while being destructive however, due to them often not destroying their own property.
Icaria, The Land of Wind and Machinery: - Spoiler:
Icaria is a very steampunkish world. Most people live on floating landmasses called Satellites and travel around via airship. Each Satellite is it's own country, with it's own legal system and government. When Satellite Countries are at war, the main objective is not to capture the other Satellite's capitol, but to destroy the large central reactor that keeps the country in the air. As for the lands below the Satellites, they're sparsely populated by anyone, as the risk of a country falling onto your house isn't too appealing, and the flying countries make it hard to find a place with perfect sunlight for farming. Many Sky Pirates live in old, abandoned mines on the surface. The primary Icarian diet isn't that far off from that of the modern human, as they have learned proper agricultural techniques in the past few hundred years. Icarians are humans who are spiritually bound to the element of Wind, and characteristically, the tend to be curious to a fault, often being the driving force behind their scientific discoveries.
Galtea, The Land of Earth and Empires - Spoiler:
Galtea no longer exists, after they exceeded their technological limitations and exhausted all usable fuel sources, due to a lack of interest in alternative energies. After a failed invasion of both the heavens and the netherworld, their land was destroyed, forever separating half of the Galteans from the other. They are an advanced race with a penchant for reckless expansionism and imperialism. While the status of the Galteans that invaded the heavens is unknown, the ones that invaded the Netherworld ultimately forced their way into status as mid-ranked residents of the Netherworld, classing in around High Demons. Galteans are humans who are spiritually bound to the element of Earth, and are characteristically brash and hardheaded. They have a hard time processing emotions, but many of them are selfless and kind, once they eventually open up. Their land, and thus racial name, comes from the Goddess of Life, Galti.

| Basic explanation of some uncommon magic types, so that they're a tad more clear. Space - Spoiler:
Space magic is the manipulation of the space between atoms. In other words, it gives you the ability to indirectly alter the shape, size, density, and volume of matter. As expected, this power is easily abused, so there are few in existence who are allowed to live after their skill in this magic type is made apparent.
Duality - Spoiler:
Duality is, for lack of a better way of putting it, "Counter Magic". Completely useless offensively, it can be used defensively to produce the polar opposite of the opponent's attack, with equal power. One consistent flaw with those that practice Duality magic is that they lack the mental stamina to keep canceling out the opponent's attacks, and often faint on the field of battle due to exhaustion.
Chaos - Spoiler:
Chaos is less of a type of magic, and more of a style of using a preexisting type of magic. With Chaos, your spells charge faster and strike harder, at the cost of decreased accuracy and a lowered critrate. It's used by Lords of Chaos to sweep the field of Order supporters and restore balance to a Order-heavy region.
Order - Spoiler:
Order, like Chaos, is moreso a style of using preexisting types of magic. With Order at your side, your spells are more precise and have an increased critrate, at the cost of charging time and power. It's used by Lords of Order to clean out territories where Chaos supporters have gained dominance and restore balance.
Fate - Spoiler:
Fate is a spell type that requires a master spellcaster in order for it's true potential to be used. Without any elemental power, Fate can only be used to vaguely divine someone's future. To be fair, these predictions are completely accurate, but they very well may not be on the path the subject might take. With Earth, you can view the bonds of the subject, and how these bonds will change in the future. With Wind, you can see the events occurring around the subject, and how they will influence the world around them. With Fire, you can perceive the emotional state of the subject in their future, and thus, how they develop as a person. With Water, you can perceive the subject's thoughts. When a spellcaster who has mastered Fate and the four elements attempts to use Fate magic on a subject, they gain access to the subject's "Book of Fate", which allows them to completely rewrite the subject's fate however they please.
