Adepto Opulentia! - A Side Project

Because Blazing References is moderately hard to come up with new material, (Damn. Following a plot is hard!) I started this, originally to come up with new ideas for Blazing References. A few days later, and it begins shaping up into a legitimate RPG.

"Adepto Opulentia!" is the Latin translation of "Get Richer!" and it actually fits the plot.

Plot(s) - When the game starts, the player takes control of, and is insulted by a doctor who introduces himself as Isaac. The play will choose what gender their hero is, which actually impacts the story and whatnot.
If you choose a Male Hero, he'll simply ask if that's right. Not for any deviant purposes, but because such decisions are integral to an RPG game.
If you choose a Female Hero, he'll ask if you truly are female, a joke about guys playing and pretending to be girls in MMORPGs.
You then get to ask Isaac any question you like, so long as it's a text option. However, talking to him will simply tell you to "take a seat anywhere" in a room with a single chair. He'll rather vaquely explain that you will need to go on a quest, for various cliche purposes. He'll then send you to wake up in your bed, where the game actually begins!

If you picked to be Male, you'll go hang out with your childhood friend, Sayo. After going into her basement to kill some slimes that found their way down there, You'll be able to leave and discover that a man claiming to be a health inspector took everything in her house. The duo then go on an epic journey to kick the thief's ass and earn enough money to get everything back, plus renovate their town.

If you picked to be Female, your buddy Darc (because I love putting myself into games.) asks if you want to help him test out the new dungeon he built in his basement. After that, you'll discover that Darc has received a very special letter from... Isaac! The letter is apparently a few years old, and it has little to do with anything other than who Darc's going to have as his partner during poker night. However, you'll be reminded of your dream, and inform Darc that Isaac has asked you to go on a quest. With that, the duo departs town to go perform a simple quest to get Isaac off their backs. This story has the most lulz, as it's alot of fourth wall poking and jabbing.

These are all of the current party members. The term on the left is a quick summary of who they are, and the one on the right is what their stats could be considered by most people. Of course, neither hero needs such a description. The number on the left is the order a Male Hero recruits them, whereas the number on the right is the order a Female Hero recruits them.

Alright, so as I just got through telling Trace, this won't be 75+ hour game. Turns out, making a game at such length was why Blazing References pretty much stopped being developed. Since I don't want to completely drop this project, I'm breaking it up into episodes. Not episodes of the original 75+ hour story (Which seems to have plummeted down to 15-18 to make it do-able), but of a series of things.
