Backstory: Eshu is as enigmatic as his sister Kalulu. He had enjoyed his days in the forest with him and they played with the other kitsune children. They were an oddity to the other children however because of their strange birth. While twins are rare in humanoid communities, it is unheard of in kitsune culture. They were also born with one tail but seemingly no powers that traditionally come with it. They were bestowed a second tail early in life for valor in combat against many oni who attacked their forest community. They saved the lives of the other kitsune children and defeated the oni.

Type: Forest/Wild (Advantage: Can easily find herbs and roots for food and medicine)

Personality: Rambunctious and mischievous, he likes to play tricks on others. He will often find some way to amuse himself when bored and this can get him into trouble often.

Feeding: When feeding, a forest kitsune will with trees, feeding on the essence of the tree and the plants around them. Animals in the area will also weaken as their essence is drained at a more mild rate. They only need to feed when they get low on essence. They can regenerate it slowly but if they get too low then they have little choice.

Healing: When they need to heal, they must expend energy (essence). As a result, this will cause them to need to feed sooner.

Powers: Fox-Fire: He can produce lightning or fire by rubbing his tails. This becomes a melee weapon. He can also breath fire, to a limited range, about five feet or less. He can also create small balls of fire, and use these as lights, thrown weapons, or as playtoys.

Kitsune Ball: He can create small balls of focused power. These balls look like small, white spheres that can easily be mistaken for a child's toy. These balls are a focus for his abilities. He enjoys playing with this ball, and use it as a focus for some of his magics. However, since he is immature, he uses the ball to gauge how much essence he has remaining. (It glows brighter the more essence he has)

Shapeshifting- He can transform into humans (Only if he has come into contact with them first, such as them bending down to pet him). While he gains their shape, voice, abilities, memories, and items, he can only maintain the form for a time of five minutes and can only take that specific form once a day. He can retain the knowledge of the forms of the people he touches.


(Note: The only noticeable difference between the original form and the form the Kitsune assumes is the Kitsune retains their tails and ears because their transformation ability is immature due to their age, also resulting in the time limit.)

Speaking: He cannot speak in his fox form, however if he were to touch a person’s skin with his tail he creates a temporary mental link to allow his to speak in their mind. Once contact is broken, the link is severed.
