Aero lifted herself up the scruffy wooden steps, being careful not to make too much noise when she opened Calcifer's door. He was still asleep, bundled tightly in a messy nest of crisp sheets-- a sleeping quarter uncommonly royal to the Gieru. He was buried in the cream bedding all the way to his eyes, the brown of his hair and the gold sheen of the sun pouring in from his window an alluring compliment. Wearily creaking, the floor boards made him stir, and crimson drifted into the color scheme of that sleepy corner of the room.
"I didn't mean to wake you," she said without thinking. "I mean, I did-- sorry-- but we were going out and wanted to see if you were up to-..." Her voice trailed off. Calcifer'd burrowed deeper into his cocoon, a muffled groan emanating from it. "I guess not, then." She stood for a moment, glancing around the room. "We'll be back definately before nightfall. We might eat r'hanma (lunch) before we return, though, so be prepared to get yourself something later." The door made a light squeak as she began to leave.
"Hey," She turned on her heel, the light from the window catching the tips of a few of her arrows. "What do you mean "we"?" "Me and Necruta... and Ruul."
A sigh flaunted it's emotion to bare walls once the door had been shut.
