Dangan Ronpa: Desperation and Depredation

"That's pretty cool. You seem a little young to be working for a zoo though." he scratched at his beard, "How'd you get the gig?"

"Just give me both for good mea-WAH!" Kiki tripped over her own feet whilst following behind Blake. She fell and rolled down the hill a bit, her pad of paper tumbling down a bit further. She sat up and adjusted her glasses frames, "Hmmm. I lasted longer than expected honestly." She dusted her arms off and looked up at Blake, "So yeah, just gimme both!"

"Hm... Well my favourite animated film is probably The Nightmare Before Christmas. As for my favourite live action  movie... Hm... Maybe... Hackers." He held a hand out to help Kiki up.

"And your favorite actress or actor? " she took his hand and stood up, before walking over and grabbing the pad of paper. She continued her writing.

"Hm... Halle Berry maybe. She's pretty awesome. And hot too."

They reached the doors of the superstore which opened automatically for them. Inside was filled with various foods and drinks in cans and bottles and packages but there was more. There were diving masks, disposable cameras, Even a dry suit was standing at the end of one aisle.

Usami disappeared from in front of Hanfi, Sabia and Ashley with a bow.

She reappeared on the beach in front of the rest of the kids.

"Now come on kids, you'll never be filled with hope if all you do is stand around. You'r not even talking. Don't make me give you detention."

"I honestly don't care for this 'hope' of yours." Rachael said with a straight face.

"Then I'll just get all the 'hope' I need by studying, that seems to be a compromise we can both agree to."

Maryl had gotten distracted by the lures of the trees wondering what sort of wildlife lay hidden in such an exotic local. She absent mindedly started wandering off of the beach and into the brush.

"You're an interesting contraption." Gabe said walking over to the rabbit. Are you some kinda remote controlled machine or a VI?

"Got good connects huh? Geez that'd be nice... " Hanfi scratched the back of his head, then adjusted his beanie. This ranch doesn't look all that big though. Maybe these animals aren't native? "

Kiki began shuffling through things on the shelf, "I don't got any money though. "

Usami put her paw to her mouth as she looked up at Gabe. "I don't know what a VI is but I'm certainly not remote controlled." She said.

Aaron looked up and down the beach. He didn't really feel like talking to anyone. His last attempt at talking to someone made him feel concious of the fact that he wasn't as open to others as his brother was. Blake wouldn't have let someone make him feel like he was intruding on them just by talking. He made his way up from the beach and decided to walk along the path. He headed in the direction Hanfi, Sabia and Ashley had gone.

When he came to the bridge, he paused and looked across it. It seemed to go on for a while but he could definitely see an island in the distance.

Kiki brought her pad up and began writing, excitingly yelling as she went, "Blake White Condones Shoplifting! Teenage Talent Willing to Steal from Small Local Store!" She put the bottom tip of her pin on her chin, "Hmmm. That title might be a bit long...But if I put in it the header it'd be too short..."

"It was a rhetorical question smartass." Hanfi frowned, "Besides not all of us have been raised around animals like you. I don't know where all of the animals came from. "

"Being British is hardly a talent," he said, his accent slipping slightly.

"What?! Don't be ridiculous!" Kiki stopped her writing instantly and looked up at Blake seriously, "If that wasn't a talent, then you wouldn't be here with us, right? Besides, why would I waste my time with someone who wasn't extraordinary?"

"You should take more pride in your talent. The world looks up to you for it. And besides, it's not like they mean Brit literally. It's just a way to generalize what you're special for." She began writing again.
