Hope

Darkness Around, not a sound
Lost and scared, filled with despair
Crawling toward an unknown goal
Fighting unrelenting cold
A desperate cry, the final try
And with a shimmer, a light did glimmer
Hope reborn, the void is torn
And a voice did say, rejoice this day
For by your side, I shall stride
To lead the way, until the day
When at last, the light is cast
Upon the door, to forever more
