Day Four members in Meek's Fanfiction!

Hi everybody! I'm having a ball writing my fic, for all of its cheesiness and such -- it's a great way to pass the time while the ARG is on pause and all the while I'm working on new ways to keep people interested. In one of the next few chapters I would love to include a transcript of the Day Four members responding to "Meek's" absence based on her post made here on The Fourth Day forums:

What I would love to have happen sometime in the near future (no pressure, but preferably before there are updates so that the fanfic doesn't seem like it's colliding with the actual story!!) is for everyone who frequents the chat to have an "in character" discussion about her departure.

Everyone is meant to be left to draw whatever conclusions they'd like. Someone may come in and mention that the post seemed odd. Someone else might argue that Meek is fucked up and it probably isn't a huge deal. Someone can suggest weird activity. someone can demand that everybody stfu and watch the majora's mask gameplay they're streaming. Whatever comes NATURALLY to you, but surrounds the issue, would be perfect!

It can turn into a huge theory discussion, a heated argument, or even just a "anyone see meek's post? am I the only one who thinks it's weird? yes? kk. anyway, where were we?"

I'd like to aim between 100 and 600 words, but if you guys are enjoying yourself, make it as long as you like. A whole chapter devoted to a chat log from Day Four would be great!!

I don't want to do a lot of editing -- I want it to be as "in character" (by which I mean, true to your personalities, so act as YOURSELVES as you can!!) as possible, so the only editing that may happen would be if a member logged in and had no idea what everyone was talking about (I WOULD expect people to say "this is NOT game related, this is for a fanfiction" and I could edit it out later) or if someone posted something "OOC"; other than that, very little is going to be edited.

If you are interested, please reply and let me know! I would LOVE To get Day Four in on this! <333 The more the merrier!!!

You don't even have to read it to get the gist of things: All you need to know is that she has apparently been offline (away from chats, off of forums, hasn't logged in on youtube, etc) for over several weeks. She went offline around the end of November, and made the farewell post around March 1st.

Ask questions or let me know if you want to do this here. :3 If I can get enough participants by Monday (today is saturday the 12th). I'd like to get started as soon as possible. If the chat ends up being really productive I might just dedicate an entire chapter to the Day Four Chat and call it TheFourthDay.

In all seriousness, it'd be cool for us all to get in on something as a team. Well, less of a team and more like... Yeah, you get the point.

Can the "discussion" be in this thread instead? It'd be more organized and ensure everyone who wants to can get in on it.

The only reason why I want it to be in the chat is so that A) it's a little more spontaneous so that it sounds more like a conversation and less like lines, B), it's easier to copy-past as a log and isn't as broken with timestamps, usernames, dates, subject lines, signatures etc. (instead everything is neat and aligned), and C), I don't want to see a huge set-up or whatever, even if it's just three or four of you bringing it up in the middle of a chat. I might just poke my head in the chat randomly and ask people if they wouldn't mind doing something real quick and then I'll edit myself out later. It's a tad more easier to organize here because people can just post whenever, but I'd really love to grab a chat log as opposed to copy-pasting big posts within the forum. I'm also kind of looking for the instantaneous, quick conversations and for everyone to act about as natural as possible.

I'd do this if it weren't on Monday... I can't use the computer on Mondays.

I never said it had to be one a monday. Monday was a target date, but in reality I'd like to do it the next time the chat is full. :) Which could be whenever.

Aight. I'm Free on Wednesdays, Fridays and Weekends, btw.

Make sure I'm there and we have a deal. :P

But it shouldn't be too full. When there's too many people in there, it's impossible to have an actual coherent conversation; it ends up more like everyone talking at once and jumping around trying to answer each other.

I think that rather than trying to organized a detailed cast I'm just going to wait until the chat gets full, throw this thread in, ask for permission and see how quickly we can get it done. I don't mind if things get chaotic -- I can edit things and move things around, and it may provide an interesting mood, who knows. I'm really excited!

That was epic. So great. :) :) :) I ended up editing out a little bit from the beginning, and some posts got moved around, but all in all that was fantastic, had a very natural day in the chat feel...which just makes the whole thing creepy. :) <3333 thank you all soooooo much!

Eh, I saw your suggestion Kylinn but the majority of the earlier chat doesn't make that much sense anyway; I"m not going to delete a chapter to cut one line. :/ I'll cut it later maybe

Oh, you don't have to delete the entire chapter, all you do is cut the lines from the document in the Document Manager and the use the Replace Chapter function. S'pose it's not that big a deal though. I hope we get more chances to do that. Either for your fic or for whatever else. Cause that was really fun. :D

I'm just not going to freak out over one out of place line right now. I'd like to touch on a few other groups before I return to day Four.

I would really like to join in,the problem is I live in another timezone and it's quite difficult for me to be online when others are.

Hahaha, took me about fifteen tries to get that. Sadly, no, I am not joking.

I may do another very brief chapter or chapter division where everyone addresses another strange issue, but I'm afraid the major inclusion chapter has come and gone. :c I may be mentioning a few individuals from chats or forums, but that may be pretty much all, as the focus isn't necessarily meant to travel too far away from the protagonist and the antagonist -- it wasn't why I set out to write the fanfic, anwyay. :)

When can we expect another chapter, Meek?

I'm trying to wait until there's an update. The idea of this fic is that it is supposed to be based on real time..which is super difficult...so...yeah.

Hopefully very soon. If there aren't any updates by the end of the week, expect a three-segment filler chapter next Friday or Saturday.
