Community Movie Night

Remember those anime streams I used to do semi regularly? Yeah, me neither.

Well, in the vein of trying to drive up community activity, I'm going to try my hand at streaming some movies and/or anime for a period of up to two hours each week.

Feel free to submit suggestions for things to stream and state if/when you're free to watch. For trying a new show, I'll give it a two hour timeslot and poll everyone for their opinions later on. Should it be well received or you at least manage to somehow sell it on how bad it is, we'll keep going till the series is finished.

With the current information available, I'm going to try streaming Mondays at 6-8 PM EST. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the next stream will be held on April 18th.

The poll for this stream is being conducted Here. Poll closes on April 15th, at Midnight. Following the test, I'll pool opinions on the show we watched, and we'll quit or continue it based on feedback.

Edit: For the sake of convenience, please post your times in EST. I operate in EST, so needing to mess around with timezones would make it more tedious a task to cook up a schedule. Thank you for your understanding.

I work just about every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon/evening. I'm available on Monday and Wednesday from 12PM onward, and from Tuesday and Thursday from 2PM onward. I'll let someone know if I don't have work on a weekend.

I approve, as long as you promise we won't watching Mahouka. I'm good Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday in the afternoon. Saturday is my DnD day, so it doesn't work.

Alright, sounds good to me. Mondays 7-9 work well for me.

Is is now April 2nd, and the poll is closed. Ending at a tie of 4 votes each for Gurren Lagann and Nichijou, I flipped a coin on it.

Gurren Lagann is the show we'll watch for the the test run on the 4th. Remember to be there or be square!

Added a timer to the reserved post and a ghetto archive of sorts.
As for how I'll conduct the stream tomorrow, things will be carried out using Steam's built in streaming service. Make sure to message me at 7 so I can invite you to the stream. If you don't know my profile, just ask one of the other DF members who are already in the know. I'd rather not post unnecessary links.

So, stream ended an hour early due to people being busy or tired. I'll try pushing things back an hour next week.
