I'm not planning on getting anything started like a fan-MOBA, but my brother and I discussed the possibility of these and a few ideas we had. It was pretty fun. So if any of you have any ideas you'd want to share, just for the lulz, put em here.

I'll put up the ones we thought up later.

MOBAs are pretty flexible in what you can or can't do in design stages, lots of neat stuff you could do with that.
If I could program for shit I'd try to do it X3

I think pokemon is better suited to a team based battle arena with a bajillion characters

Okay, so to begin with, the Majora's Mask was one character I remember rather well, as we probably spent the longest time designing it. First off, it would be an assassin, and would appear in its tentacled form- its first boss stage in the game.

Attacks:
1. Tentacle whip - With a couple of tentacles, the mask latches onto a target- ally or enemy- and drags itself up to them. Deals damage to enemies, serving as an opening attack, or a quick getaway.
2. Spin attack - The mask lies flat on the ground and spins rapidly, still maintaining free, controlled movement. Enemies that come into contact with the mask during this attack are slowed. Multiple hits stack Slow on targets.
3. Piercing Shriek - The mask lets out a wail that causes enemies within the AOE to take increased damage. Affected enemies that take the final hit from the mask's spin attack are stunned instead of slowed.
4. Ult: Consume - The mask calls down the moon to suck up a single target. Inside it, the four Boss Remains attack, dealing true damage before dropping the target back down.

Begin with a Tentacle Whip to close in, immediately followed by a Piercing Shriek, and then a Spin Attack to deal the optimum amount of damage and get a stun. End it with your Ult, and pick off any remaining damage with regular attacks.
