That's right, the points are like Drae's opinion.

Spoiler:
Completionist- The one who plays games for the accomplishment more than the gameplay. The sort of guy who will go out of his way to collect everything, meet everyone and go everywhere. Likely to like Pokemon and any game with loads of achievements.
Puzzle Solver- The one who plays for the feeling of warmth in their chest when the 'puzzle solved' jingle plays. Often a casual gamer. They enjoy many iPhone games, Portal and/or Legend of Zelda.
Historian- Similar to Explorer, these gamers prefer to delve into the LORE of a game, rather than the game itself, or enjoy lore-driven games spent exploring ancient ruins. These guys will browse a game's Wiki, actually spend time reading the in-game books to get everything they can get, and maybe join forums to discuss theories about the games. People like these would enjoy The Elder Scrolls, the studio ICO games, and Journey.
Sensory- The most basic type of gamer, divided into Musicians and Artists. These gamers enjoy games for their soundtracks or visuals. Musicians would like games like Final Fantasy, Halo or Hype: The Time Quest, while Artists would basically like any recent game, and more visually innovative ones like Wind Waker or Paper Mario.
Innovator- These ones strive for new experiences in games. New, never-before or rarely-seen fuctions that titillate the player in new ways, guaranteeing a truly unique experience. These gamers would like games like Mirror's Edge, Portal and Shadow of the Colossus.
Beater- Enjoy the sensation of dominating an enemy, regardless of the challenge. Seeing entire armies of mooks falling before their blade is what they play for. These players would enjoy Dynasty Warriors and playing Fire Emblem on Easy. (Not judging, this is totally me.)
Thrill-Seeker- These gamers love the heart-pounding experience of being thoroughly freaked out. Some prefer ambient, implicit fear like in Amnesia: The Dark Descent, while others prefer jump-inducing scare games like Dead Space. These sub-categories could be called Creepers and Jumpers.
Creators- These gamers enjoy showing their creativity as they play. They may enjoy solving puzzles in creative ways, but more commonly, they simply enjoy the experience of putting things together to create something new. Gamers like these would plainly enjoy Minecraft, particularly in creative mode, and Little Big Planet.
